Booking your vaccination
Our clinics: We have dedicated Covid19 clinics running weekly at the surgery. These clinics are open to all Minchinhampton patients who are due a Covid19 vaccination. To book your Covid19 vaccination please log onto your patient online services or call our main reception line after 2pm.
Local vaccination centres: You can find a local vaccination centre by visiting the NHS website here.
Please note: Do not attend the clinic if you or anyone in your household has any Covid19 symptoms or has tested positive for Covid19. Please wear a face mask when attending the surgery if you have respiratory symptoms. If you are housebound and unable to attend a clinic or vaccination site, please inform reception and we can add you onto our waiting list for a home vaccination.
Spring boosters: We are currently only offering the 4th dose to over 75s and clinically vulnerable patients – you should have already been invited to book your appointment if you are eligible. If you have any questions over your eligibility, or haven’t been invited but believe you are eligible – please contact reception and we will pass your query onto a GP.
Proof of vaccination certificates
People in England who have been vaccinated against Covid19 can demonstrate their vaccination status for international travel using the official “NHS COVID Pass” . This is accessible:
1) Online via the NHS website
2) Via the NHS COVID Pass app, which is downloadable from app stores
3) By calling the Covid19 helpline on 119 and requesting a paper copy
To access your digital certificate, you will need to register for an NHS login if you haven’t got one already. It can take more two weeks for your identity to be checked and verified, so ensure plenty of time to get your proof of vaccination before travelling. If you have already registered for online services with your GP surgery you can use these details for your NHS login.
Please note: official proof of Covid19 vaccination for travelling abroad cannot be provided by your GP practice.
Please visit the NHS website for information on:
- The latest government guidance about symptoms and testing
- The long-term effects of having Covid19 (“long Covid”)
- The recommended period to wait after testing positive for Covid19 before having your vaccination
You can also visit the Gloucestershire online portal to access information on support and services in the county. The site covers everything from pharmacies, medication, dentists, opticians, and community and hospital services.
